February

February was a very big month, for all of us! On the 1st, Mia crawled on hands and knees for the first time on her way to pull herself up on a stair, also a first! We were so surprised! A favorite thing she did, mostly in January though was her “handstand.” She’d have hands and feet on the ground, bottom in the air, with her head down. It was so cute!

We spent a week in Ohio at the end of January and beginning of February. We came back to Indiana, packed up in two days and headed down to Florida for Spring Training. On the way down our car broke down, but everything worked out as well as it could have. We were starting to get settled into our new place, but it didn’t work out and we had to move quickly. We stayed in a hotel for a few days before we found a nice apartment affordable enough to rent furniture too. We moved in on the 22nd.

None of that hindered Mia’s development! She learned to stand in her pack ‘n play, crawl faster, communicate by making funny sounds and expecting you to make it back, wave and smile at everyone, and pull herself up on everything!

Having fun in the car! Mia thought it was so funny when I'd put anything on her head!

Great Grandma!

Standing!

Having fun on our future furniture!

Checking out the new place!
