October Review... November Preview

October was a fun and busy month! In the beginning of the month we drove down to Amish country and bought bulk gluten-free ingredients and Amish cheese (yum!). The next day my friend Melanie came down from Indy with her two little ones for the day. And the day after that Will and I went to my 10-year high school reunion! Talk about going back in time!

The next week was calm thankfully because after it we went on two trips. The first was down to Brown County for a Miller family reunion. Four of my dad's siblings flew into Indiana to spend several days together. It was a lot of fun! We had beautiful weather for the first half, so everyone got their hiking in. Then we were able to do a lot of visiting and relaxing while it rained.

The second trip Mia and I took on our own to visit my friend Carrie in Ohio and her newest little one. It was short, but oh so sweet. Isaiah and Mia enjoyed each other, even if they wore each other out! And after those two were in bed, Carrie and I had our heart-to-hearts before we went to bed.

This last week we had Fr. Daniel Byantoro visiting and giving talks in town. On Wednesday night we joined others for an Indonesian dinner cooked by him. Thursday night we had him over for dinner and Saturday morning we heard him speak.

If we weren't busy doing all those things, we enjoyed the warm October weather by going outside to walk around and play in the leaves. And pick up rocks. Always.

So far November does not have much scheduled yet. We have a visit out to Indy to see Melanie and kids, cousin Nectaria's birthday party, and the trip out to Ohio for Thanksgiving which will include seeing Will's extended family also. I'm glad to not be traveling anywhere until then!

Hope you have a wonderful November!
